Vorza

Awesome HPI racing RC car that is unbeatable in almost every way. It is an off road RC car with oil filled shocks and an amazing top speed of 73 miles per hour (117 kmh) though it requires two batteries to reach this top speed it is still amazing for an off road RC car. It also has a really high quality suspension system containing 16mm HB Big Bore shocks and Sturdy aluminum suspension mounts. Also has the D8 spiral-cut worm gear to transfer the power from the driveshafts and into the wheels this design is highly reliable and works great. The original version was discontinued but was replaced by almost exactly the same one just slightly better and it runs around 644 dollars.

One of the best RC cars for beginners

The HPI Racing Brama 10B RTR is a great RC car for beginners to start out on it has high quality parts its inexpensive and it has a top speed of 35 miles per hour (56 kilometers per hour). This car is four wheel drive and perfect for on or off road driving. The Brama 10B is perfect for beginners to master driving on all kinds of terrain and to practice tricks such as drifting on turns, and on top of all that its only about 175 dollars depending on where you buy it from.

Rock crawlers

Rock crawlers are adventurous all terrain RC cars that although slow are capable of climbing steep slopes driving over large rocks or even climbing your stairs without trouble. Generally the larger rock crawlers are capable of climbing more difficult terrain but they are all fully capable of handling difficult tasks. Unlike most other RC cars which are aero dynamic and typically have low ground clearance rock crawlers have a small body and have large shocks and big wheels sort of like a monster truck and plenty of ground clearance, for this design increases its performance and allows it to tackle more challenges.

Top two RC car brands

Two of the bet RC car brands out there are Traxxas and HPI Racing both make and sell high quality RC cars, replacement parts and accessories. Traxxas comes out with more RC cars than almost any other brand and have built many of the fastest RC cars in the world. Both companies have their RC cars start out with good components rather than most places where you have to upgrade a lot to reach the same quality. HPI racing is very similar to Traxxas in the quality of its RC cars, however HPI is often less expensive than Traxxas although they don’t make as many or as fast RC cars they are still high quality.

E-REVO BRUSHLESS EDITION (#5608)

This E-revo is another one of traxxas great RC cars similar to the  Traxxas 1/16 E-Revo VXL 4WD 2.4GHz RTR it is very power full but is 1/10 scale at near 2 feet long. battery types and quality

NIMH
NICD

Lithium polymer
When choosing a battery you should probably go with an NIMH battery rather than NICD or Lithium Polymer. NICD battery’s tend to have shorter life spans and aren’t as power full, while Lithium Polymer batteries are defiantly power full but have many warnings such as you must charge the battery in a fire resistant container or if you crash your car the battery has a possibility of exploding and then that might damage your RC car which they tend to be expensive to repair or get a new one, so it probably isn’t the best battery to go for unless you don’t mind replacing damaged parts. Go to  http://www.towerhobbies.com/help/ama_lipo/index.html for more safety warnings for lithium polymer batteries

RC car power choice

When looking for an RC car how it is powered is one of the most important things that should be looked at. If you get an RC car that is gas powered you’ll need to spend lots of gas to drive your RC car also Nitro powered cars require lots of money for the nitro fuel. If you want an RC car that you don’t continually have to buy fuel for get an RC car powered by a battery, and make sure the battery you get lasts a while before you recharge it generally the higher the number on the battery the longer it will last before it needs recharging.

XO-1

New Traxxas RC car 1/7 X0-1 2.4GHz 4WD on-road RTR with awesome top speed of 100+ mph (161 km/h) it can go from 0-100mph in 4.92 seconds claiming to be the world’s fastest RC car. This RC car is 27 inches (685.8 mm) long, is 5 inches (127 mm) high and has a Center Ground Clearance of 0.6 inches (15 mm). The only bad things about it are the price which is about $1000 changing slightly depending on where you buy it from, and that to actually get the 100+ mph (161 km/h) top speed you have to have an I phone or I touch with the Traxxas Link App.
