battery types and quality

NIMH
NICD

Lithium polymer
When choosing a battery you should probably go with an NIMH battery rather than NICD or Lithium Polymer. NICD battery’s tend to have shorter life spans and aren’t as power full, while Lithium Polymer batteries are defiantly power full but have many warnings such as you must charge the battery in a fire resistant container or if you crash your car the battery has a possibility of exploding and then that might damage your RC car which they tend to be expensive to repair or get a new one, so it probably isn’t the best battery to go for unless you don’t mind replacing damaged parts.
